Ducted A/C also has the advantage of being able to provide higher levels of cooling per room than something like a single unit installed in the same room. This is because a ducted system works with one large, central A/C unit providing the air flow, and then a system of hard metal ducts being fitted from the central unit and into the different rooms of your home. There will then be flexible ducts that connect the hard ducts to the diffuser that allows cold air into your room.
